V2 R.B.S.L. fits MOFO X15 Axle
V2 R.B.S.L. fits MOFO X15 Axle
R.B.S.L. V2's are here!!!!
New V2 Offset rod ends(7075 Aluminum)and V2 Pivot Balls(Stainless Steel) designed in house, give added strength, clearance and style to the R.B.S.L. !!! There are 3 sizes of pivot balls that will all fit the same new V2 Rod End. M2.5, M2, M1.4. These are small on one side and bigger on the other, when installed correctly, the rod ends will never come off! This R.B.S.L. is for the MOFO X15 Axles and is supplied with m2.5 pivot balls for the steering link. *Two extra m2.5/m2 pivot balls and hardware supplied for the drag link to servo horn. If you need a M1.4 Pivot ball for your drag to link to servo horn, add it to the cart. the M1.4 Pivot ball has the added bonus of being inset so the the screw head is flush with the pivot ball lip. Keeps the screws short and gives clearance away from the diff cover.
***Note-MOFO RC had its first run of X15 axles run m1.6 hardware, this RBSL will not work with the MOFO V1 X15 axles unless you drill and tap the knuckles yourself, depending on material thickness, you could run m2 or m2.5 hardware, email me at suppot@3Flow9RC.com if you need different hardware than the new standard m2.5****
Step away from the square edge steering links and step towards the R.B.S.L. for your MOFO X15 Axles This steering link has 15-5mm or 13-6mm sealed and oiled bearings! This dramatically reduces the risk of hang-up from a square edged steering links. Now the R.B.S.L allows you to slide over the hang ups giving you that flow in your ride. Hardware is included.
Added benefits
Zero drag steering link- No edges to get caught on here. 15/13 sealed and oiled bearings give no resistance to glancing edges
Adjustable drag link - no more offsetting of your steering rate from off center servos
Adjustable Toe-In / Toe -Out - most aftermarket parts aren't too off but some are. Now you can adjust Toe angle if needed. They are 4 full turns in either directions on the tie rod ends for a few degrees of adjustment.
For rock crawling Toe-out gives you a better initial turn in on corner entry but will make the truck unstable under acceleration(faster trucks) on the straights and on bumpy tracks
Toe-in will reduce steering when entering a corner but improves steering response on corner exit under acceleration(faster trucks)
A slight 1° toe out would be good for our slow crawlers.
But have fun trying the different setups. Every truck setup is different so one might work better for your terrain or setup.
Added weight - R.B.S.L 5mm - 9 grams
